Where my interest in the great ranges started: Haramosh trip, Karakoram 1992

Well after about 18 months the site is back on the web again.

Unfortunately, I'm struggling to find time to update the site and a couple of trips remain undocumented, while more recent visits to Tanzania and India don't even get a mention.

Hopefully, in the not too distant future I'll get around to adding some new content.

Site content: You will find written accounts of several of my trekking and mountaineering trips to the greater ranges, including the Himalayas and the Andes. These accounts although primarily a memory jogger for me, my family and friends, also contain plenty of information about the area and arranging your own low cost trip, although you may have to do a bit of reading to find that info !

Reading through some of the stuff recently I found a quote I particularly liked from the Karakoram - "Yet again, another day passed and someone's life had swung precariously in the balance". Although, I can't promise that the accounts will be entertaining, at least they should put some detail onto guide book descriptions

The travel section contains images and accounts from Antarctica to the Arctic, and from India to the battle fields of World War 1.  A number of galleries can be accessed from within these pages.

I hope you enjoy your visit.

Mike
